Council

Council is a consultative body, offering advice and representing the views of the membership at large to the Board of Trustees.

 As the top-level consultative and advisory body, the Council is expected to:

  • debate the future direction and strategy of the IET and advise the Board of Trustees as to the views of the membership as as whole;
  • note the corporate plan each year, and review it against the agreed strategies;
  • note and review the annual report and accounts;
  • monitor and participate in the election of the Board of Trustees.
