I am a member with a non member account. How can I convert it?

You must be logged in to convert a non-Member's account into a Member's account.

From My IET, under Your Account Messages, click on "convert your account"

Enter your surname, date of birth and membership number and click continue.

If you enter your Membership number incorrectly, or if an existing account is found, you will be shown an error message. Please read the message - it explains the cause of the problem and recommended course of action.

You may notice that your name and contact information changes from those that you entered when you registered to those that the Institution holds in its records. You will also notice a new Members Resources button on your Personal Account, and that you now have access to access to additional services and information. Any changes made to contact information via the Web site will now result in a change to your record in the Institution's membership database.
